Classical guitar - how it is bulit

Hi. As you certainly noticed I am fond of guitar music. Today I would like to share with you some Internet materials concerning this great instrument.

First of all - today we are talking, to be specific, about the classical guitar also known as: Spanish guitar, nylon-string guitar, classical acoustic or concert guitar.

To find more, including how are the names of the elements of this instrument, go to wikipedia:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_guitar

And here is a nice film explaining how it is actually made.

And another one.

I am really happy about possibilities given by modern medias. We can learn from the best teachers how to play particular pieces of music. Below, for example, you can find a lesson - a tutorial how to perform BWV 998 on the guitar.

And here is a very nice performance by Belarussian (White Russian) guitarist Tatyana Ryzhkova

A few days ago a visited a small place, a village I guess, named Verwood.

Grota Fingala

There are many photos on the Internet of Grota Fingala. Wikipedia says:

'Fingal's Cave is a sea cave on the uninhabited island of Staffa, in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, known for its natural acoustics. The National Trust for Scotland owns the cave as part of a National Nature Reserve.'

That is a quotation from Wikipedia. If you click below, you are going to find more, including lovely pictures:

Grota Fingala is also a title of Johann Kaspar Mertz's guitar composition.

I recorded it few years ago and maybe I will perform it live ones again, why not?

About Johann Kaspar Mertz click here, also in Wikipedia:

Have folks a nice day. And Swietlana, thank you very much for your nice comments :))
