Past Simple

Past Simple as the name says is about past. It is all about it which was and it is not the case now.

There are useful words and expressions typical for this particular time such as: yesterday, ago, last weekend, last year etc.

Let me give you some examples:

Yesterday Sara was in the cinema.
Last weekend Tom threw a party. (Throw a party - urządzić imprezę).
We were in Spain three days ago.

We know three types of sentences:positive, negative and questions. In Past Simple Tense we make them the following way:

Positive:

Kate went to school two hours ago.

Negative:

Kate did't (did not) go to school two hours ago.

Question (Interrogative)

Did Kate go to school two hours ago?

Can you see guys? Can you see what happens to the verb in these sentences? (Verb - czasownik)
